Corrugated cardboard packaging is made from a natural, renewable source and typically manufactured using high percentages of recycled fibre.
Corrugated manufacturing processes are continuously developing to minimize impact and protect the environment.
Manufacturing processes have evolved to include:
- The use of non-toxic biodegradable inks and substances
- Decreasing formaldehyde use
- Diminishing waste water
- Recycling box plant waste
A commitment to meeting health, safety and environmental packaging requirements has lead to many corrugated materials meeting and in many cases exceeding, all UK government and industry mandates based on environmental concerns.
